About

OUR MISSION-
To move mountains for those showing compassion and care, just as Christ did, for the sick and hurting

Who We Are

Moving Mountains Ministry focuses on nurses and personal caregivers. We exist to provide support, both with information and financial resources, while also curating a centralized source of tools that can help in navigating through these difficult times. This ministry serves to be a refreshing breeze to those who care for others.

Inspiration and Beloved Friend

Stoney, as his friends and family called him, was a singer-songwriter, musician, graphic designer, sound engineer, and bus driver for his family’s music group, The Dartts. Stoney was adventurous, and enjoyed traveling the world including all 50 states, and over 20 countries singing in music ministry. He enjoyed getting to know people and hearing their stories, as well as giving a word of encouragement to those in need. Stoney loved the people who cared for him and one of his last prayers was that we find a way to celebrate and support both nurses and personal caregivers.

Founder

In 2019 BJ was blessed with the opportunity to be a personal caregiver for his best friend, Stoney who was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer. In the 30 months from diagnosis to God calling Stoney home, BJ was impressed by the care that was given by the amazing nurses and the other personal caregivers that he met. Through this process he developed close friendships with these amazing people and feels compelled to help those who dedicate their life to caring for the sick and hurting.

What We Do

At Moving Mountains Ministry we are focused on providing specific services to both nurses and personal caregivers.  While the needs of these people may be different the purpose they serve in the life and family of the sick and hurting is similar.
